Supervision

I am an experienced supervisor who is passionate about supporting my supervisees to develop their clinical practice with individuals and couples.

While specialising in person-centered, experiential and emotion-focused therapeutic models, I have supervisees who work across a range of modalities.

Individual Supervision

I am an APHRA-approved psychology supervisor and registered as a certified supervisor with the International Society of Emotion Focused Therapy. I provide individual supervision for psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors to support their private practices and as a clinical supervisor within organisation settings.

EFT Supervision

I perform supervision as part of the EFT certification process. Certification in EFT requires performing Levels 1, 2 & 3 of EFT training and attending individual supervision with a certified EFT supervisor. For more information on the EFT certification process please see the AIEFT website.

I am also available for supervision of EFT practice regardless of whether it is for the purposes of certification. EFT supervision involves reviewing recorded sessions of client work. While essential for certification, this is encouraged rather than essential when supervising to the EFT model.

Meta-Supervision

This represents a new area of practice through having delivered and developed supervision training. I have begun to supervise the practice of trainee supervisors in EFT.

EFT Group Supervision (closed group)

I run a monthly supervision group that focuses on the clinical aspects of experiential and emotion focused work. This group session is designed for practitioners wanting to develop their experiential and emotion-focused training and practice.

The aim of group supervision is to:

  • Help practitioners who are aware of and/or have previously trained in EFT, to consolidate and expand their use of the modalities and approach in their experience and counselling practice.

  • Provide a safe environment for practitioners to explore and support the development of their self-as-therapist.

  • Create a community for mutual support and to share experiences of the EFT journey with like-minded practitioners.

  • Share knowledge to identify and develop an understanding of how the clinical framework of EFT and experiential modalities link with counselling practices.
